New Extra feature
You’re probably wondering what the hell is going on with today’s episode. Nothing, that’s what. This isn’t a new episode, it’s a new Extra feature where I showcase some stand-alone photos (with a description below) that have no connection to the regular Troops of Doom comics. They’re my real vision of GI Joe and Star Wars, with a more realistic, serious tone than usual. As serious and realistic as you can get with toys anyway. Fear not, the focus of the site is still the TOD comic storyline and having a laugh. These photos are just as the name implies, extras. Most of you know I’ve been doing these other photos all along and posting them on other sites and recently I started wondering why I haven’t been posting them here? Wonder no more. I’m still going to be posting them to my Flickr and JoeDios galleries but TOD readers are going to see them first from now on. Why? Because you’re awesome. Click the “Previous” button to see three other Extra pics and get an idea what you’re in for. I also have around a hundred other older photos that I’ll post retroactively throughout the archives shortly.
You’ll also notice the site has a slightly new format. I’m not happy with it but on the plus side comics will be bigger now. Everything else I tried to do wouldn’t work. I’ve been banging my head on the keyboard for the last four days, I figured it was time to give up and start posting again.
